Tell pupils they are going to listen as Henry and Lucy solve another problem. Before playing
the CD, read aloud the first part of the three sentences. Ask pupils to predict the correct
answer and report their predictions to the class.
Play Track 29 instructing pupils to listen only.
Play the track again and have pupils circle the correct answers and then copy them on the
lines. (1. magic stardust. 2. places in the world. 3. happy.)
Have pupils check their answers in pairs.

Amir: I made a mirror for my mother.
Henry: That's great, Amir. It has many colors and pictures on it. Your mother will love it. So,
why are you still sad?
Amir: She already has a mirror. I want to make her a magic mirror! How do I make a magic
mirror?
Lucy: I know what to do. Wait a minute. Henry, get the magic stardust from our purple
bag.
Henry: Oh yes! Let's throw the magic stardust on the mirror.
Amir: Oh Look! Now it’s a magic mirror. I can see places in the world in this mirror now! My
mother will be happy. She can see all the places in the world she wants to visit.
