Note: Since this is the final unit for the year, an attempt has been made to review the vocabulary
and contents of the previous five units. There are no Let’s Practice activities. The unit ends with
the End of Year Group Project, page 241.
This project will probably take a few lessons. It is worthwhile to start the project before the end of
the year so that pupils can display the project for other classes and parents. Take this into account
in planning your last lessons of the year.

Discuss the picture and elicit that this is an amusement park. Elicit that it is not like
real amusement parks, but is a fantasy park. It may be something Henry and Lucy are
dreaming about.
Ask: Where is the House of Magic Mirrors? Ask pupils to identify the rides: the Animal
Carousel, the Pirate Ship.
