Have pupils volunteer words to replace starfish and turtle, and have the whole class
sing the new words.

Before assigning Let’s Practice exercise 1, draw a flower on the board with six petals.
Write the word colors in the center of the flower. Have pupils provide six names of
colors.
You might want to elaborate on this activity and ask pupils to think of another category
and fill in six words related to that category. They can give the flower to their partner,
and the partner says what the category is.

Ask: What underwater sea creature do you remember? Did you find pictures of sea creatures on
