about the animals.
Refer pupils to the opening poster of this unit and the animals listed on the poster:
elephant, giraffe, leopard, cheetah, lion, baboon, hippo, zebra.
Ask pupils which animals they are familiar with and elicit information the pupils have.
Tell pupils they are going to listen to some facts about the animals in the picture.
Play the first part of CD Track 64 and ask: Who is talking? (the elephant) Why is the
elephant able to talk? (the magic stardust fell on him)
Play the track again and have pupils listen while looking at the pictures. Play the track
