My favorite way to travel
Explain the table and ask individuals: What is your favorite animal? Have pupils answer
in full sentences saying: My favorite animal is ______. As each pupil answers, write the
animals mentioned in the table. Do the same for the favorite places and favorite ways to
travel.
Have pupils scan the interview and underline all the animals mentioned. (giraffes, hippos,
lions, zebras, monkeys, elephants)
Ask a pupil to come to the board and add these to the table if they do not appear. Do
the same for places (Africa, savanna, forest) and for ways to travel (horse, jeep, hot air
balloon, elephant, airplane).
