Listening Comprehension Script
Henry: Look at all these clothes, Lucy. What should we take with us?
Lucy: I want to take sandals.
Henry: No, Lucy. You can't take sandals. It rains in the forest. Your feet will get wet. You
have to take shoes.
Lucy: Okay. I'll take shoes. I love shoes. Which shoes should I take?
Henry: Lucy! Take walking shoes. You are going to walk in a forest.
Lucy: No, Henry. I don't want to take walking shoes. I want to take boots. We
need good boots to walk in the forest and on the mountain.
Henry: Okay, you take boots, but I’ll take my walking shoes. Don't forget socks. Let's bring
socks! I'll take my blue socks.
Lucy: …and let's take sweaters. We will need sweaters. I’ll take my black sweater.
Henry: I'll take my blue sweater. Do we need coats and hats, Lucy?
Lucy: I think so, Henry. Let's bring coats and hats. You can bring your red coat and red
hat. I want to bring my raincoat and my hat…Oh no, we are taking too many things
with us.
Henry: Lucy, don't bring your raincoat. I’ll take my yellow umbrella.
Lucy: Okay. Let's get ready now.
Henry: Wait, Lucy, remember to take our magic purple bag. We can put everything in it.
Henry and Lucy: And we must not forget the magic stardust!
