Go around the room and have Max ask different pupils:
Are you a boy or a girl? (Elicit: I am a boy/girl.)
Where do you live? (Elicit: I live in (City name).)
How many brothers/sisters do you have? (Elicit: I have _____ brothers/sisters.)
Look out the window. What’s the weather today? (Elicit: Today is (sunny).)
What weather do you like best? Why? (Ask different pupils and elicit: I like
sunny weather, I like rainy weather, etc.)
Song

Sing “This is the Way We Sit on Our Chairs” (song #1.38) and have pupils do
movements as prompted by the song.
Vocabulary
Review

Review the vocabulary using the flashcards: winter, spring, summer, fall.
Ask: Who remembers? (Elicit the words.)
Have pupils repeat the words.
Point and ask: What's the weather in the winter? (Elicit: It is cold/windy/rainy in the
winter.)
Repeat for each season.
