Play the game to review and practice the vocabulary: winter, spring, summer, fall.
Present each flashcard one at a time.
Say: It is (cold) in the winter.
If what you say is correct, pupils repeat: Yes, it is cold in the winter.
If what you say is incorrect, pupils say: No, no, no, ha, ha, ha!
Demonstrate by showing the ‘summer’ flashcard and saying: It is cold in the
summer.
Say together with the pupils: No, no, no, ha, ha, ha!
Repeat the game several times with different words.

Say: The name of the story is The Weather Report

Point and ask:

Say: This is a story about the weather. Let’s listen and find out what the weather is.
First Reading

After reading, ask questions related to the story:
What is the man's job? (Elicit a response in L1, say in English: He is a
weatherman.)
What is the woman's job? (Elicit a response in L1)
What happened to the man at the end of the story? (Elicit any logical response)
