Ask Max: Hello, what is your name?
Have Max say: My name is Max. What is your name?
Say: My name is _____ .
Song

Sing “Hello My Name Is” (song #1.1) with Max.
Game

Look for Your Name (game #2)
Place some (6-8) of the pupils' name cards you collected after the previous lesson
at the front of the room so the names are visible to the pupils.
Call these pupils to the front of the class and have Max ask each pupil: Hello,
what is your name? (Elicit: My name is _____ .)
Have the pupil approach the name cards and collect their own by recognizing
their name on the card.
Have Max practice this greeting until all the pupils have collected their name
cards.
Have pupils place the name cards on their desks.

Show flashcards and say: Look at (the red balloon/the blue balloon).
Do a gesture to illustrate the meaning.
Have pupils repeat the sentences and do the gestures.
