applicable. For example, say: Show me your (right hand). (Have pupils raise their
right hand and say: This is my (right hand).
Choose a pupil to run the game and have the pupil say: Show me your (mouth).

Show flashcards one at a time and ask: Do you like (to swim/apples)?
Do a thumbs up and say: Yes, I like (to swim/apples).
Show flashcards one at a time and ask: Do you like (to run/snakes)?
Do a thumbs down and say: No, I don't like (to run/ eggs).

Say: Open your Course Books to page 128. Look at #7.

Read together with the pupils and do a thumbs up/down: I like… / I don't like…
•
Say: Look at the pictures. Mark under the thumbs up or thumbs down.

Review the words before giving pupils some time to do the task on their own.

Play the game after completing Course Book page 128, task #7. Play to practice
the lexical chunks and review the vocabulary: Do you like…? I like… / don't
like… cake, clowns, books, gifts, pizza, milk.
Point to each picture and ask: Do you like (cake)?
If pupils like what you say (marked under the thumbs up), they should put their
thumbs up and say: Yes, I like (cake).
If pupils don't like what you say (marked X under the thumbs down), they should
put their thumbs down and say: No, I don't like (cake).
Repeat to ask about each word.
