Review the letter D by showing the Dd flashcard and asking: What is the name of the
letter? (Elicit: the letter D)
What sound does it make? (Elicit: /d/)
What words do you know that begin with the letter D? (Elicit: dog, door, duck,
doctor, etc.)
Say together with the pupils: The letter is D and the sound is /d/.
Repeat to review the letter O.
