Say: Open your Course Books to page 121. Look at #3.

Read each sentence together with the pupils.

Say: Read and match the sentences to the correct picture.
•
Give pupils a few minutes to do this on their own or with a partner.
•
Reveal to check answers.
Call on different pupils to read each sentence and identify the picture that
matches its meaning.

Say: Look at #4.
•
Read all the words in the boxes together with the pupils. Do gestures to illustrate the
meaning of the adjectives in box #2.
•
Before doing the activity, have pupils use the table and to create combinations of
adjectives and nouns. Elicit several different sentences.
•
Say: Complete and write and complete the sentences to describe the pictures.
Do the first one with the pupils. Say: Look at #1. What do you see? (Elicit: I see a
man.)
Ask: Is the man big, tall, fat, or small? (Elicit: fat)
Point to the words in each box and say: I see a fat man.
Say: Trace the word "fat" to complete the sentence.

Give pupils a few minutes to complete the page on their own or with a partner.
•
Reveal to check answers.
Call on different pupils to read each sentence. Ask: What do you see in #2?
(Elicit: I see a big bag.)
Repeat for each sentence.
