After reading, ask questions related to the story.

Ask: What do the boys and girls do in the story? (Elicit: play a game)
What animals did you hear in the story? (Elicit: alligator, monkey, gorilla,
elephant, cat, kangaroo)
Second Reading and Story Script: What Am I?

Read the story again, page by page. While reading, stop at each page and ask
questions to ensure pupils comprehend and to elicit vocabulary that the pupils have
learned.

Pupils should follow along with the story in their Epic Stories book.
