Review the vocabulary using the flashcards: alligator, ant, bat, cat, dog, duck,
elephant, gorilla, hen, kangaroo, lion, monkey, snake, zebra.
Ask: Who remembers? (Elicit the words.)
Have pupils repeat the words.
Ask questions about the animals to review the vocabulary (long, tall, soft, big, small,
tail) and prepare for the story:
What animal is long? (Elicit: The alligator/snake is long.)
What animal is tall? (Elicit: The elephant/kangaroo/zebra is tall.)
What animal is soft? (Elicit: The cat/dog/duck/lion is soft.)
What animal is small? (Elicit: The ant/bat/cat/dog/duck/hen is small.)
What animal has a tail? (Elicit: The
alligator/cat/dog/kangaroo/lion/monkey/zebra has a tail.)
Repeat with other questions using the parts of the body vocabulary.

Say: Open your Course Books to page 120. Look at #1.

Ask: Who do you see? (Elicit: I see a clown.)
•
Say: Listen and color the correct body part on the clown.
Color the big hand blue.
Color the long arm yellow.
Color the big foot green.
Color the face pink.
Color the long leg red.
Color the small hand purple.
Color the small foot orange.
Color the hat brown.
Color the hair black.

Reveal to check answers.

Ask: What color is the big hand? (Elicit: blue)
Repeat for each body part.
NOTE

Have pupils mark the pictures in the correct color as they listen to the instructions.
Then, pupils can finish coloring on their own.
