Go around the room and have Max ask different pupils:
Hello. What is your name? (Elicit: My name is...)
Where do you live? (Elicit: I live in (City name).)
How many brothers/sisters do you have? (Elicit: I have _____ brothers/sisters.)
Do you have a pet? (Elicit: Yes, I have a cat/dog/etc. or No)

Sing “Old MacDonald” (song #2.12)

Have pupils act out the animals and make the animal noises as they sing.

I Spy (game #18)
Play the game to review the words and letters using the flashcards: ask, bus, cat,
egg, fan, gift, hand, igloo, lost, milk, pet, snake, talk.
Make binoculars with your hands and say: I spy with my little eye something
that begins with the letter (B) and the sound (/b/).
Have pupils identify the correct word. Play a few rounds.
Choose a pupil to be the spy and say: I spy with my little eye…
