Point to each letter on the poster as you sing.
Review

Review the letter G by showing the Gg flashcard and asking: What is the name of the
letter? (Elicit: the letter G)
What sound does it make? (Elicit: /g/)
What words do you know that begin with the letter G? (Elicit: glue, green, go,
guitar, etc.)
Say together with the pupils: The letter is G and the sound is /g/.
Repeat to review the letter I.

Review the vocabulary using the flashcards: pen, pink, play.
Ask: What is this? (Elicit: This is (a)…)
Ask: What sound do you hear at the beginning of the words? (Elicit: /p/)
Show the letter Pp flashcard and say: The letter is P and the sound is /p/.
Have the pupils repeat.
