Do gestures to act out each animal and make the animal noises as you sing. Have the
pupils copy the movements.

Say: Open your Course Books to page 78. Look at #1.
•
Say: What do you see? (Elicit: I see a man, boy, hen, duck, cat, snake, dog.)
•
Say: Listen and draw a line according to what you hear.
1. The man sees the boy.
2. The boy sees the duck.
3. The duck sees the cat.
4. The cat sees the hen.
5. The hen sees the dog.
6. The dog sees the snake.

Reveal to check answers.
•
Point and say the animals and people in order together with the pupils, have the
pupils point in their Course Book: man, boy, duck, cat, hen, dog, snake.

Say: Look at #2.
•
Ask: What animals do you see? (Point and elicit: alligator, bat, snake, lion, god,
gorilla, kangaroo, cat, monkey, zebra, duck, ant, hen)
•
Say: Point to the man. Point to the farm house. Let's help the man go to the farm
house. Draw a line from the man to the house.
•
Reveal to check answer of the completed maze.
•
Ask: What animals does the man see on the farm? (Follow the line of the completed
maze and elicit each animal as you reach it: alligator, bat, snake, dog, cat, duck, ant,
hen)
What animals does the man not see on the farm? (Elicit: lion, gorilla, kangaroo,
monkey, zebra)
Ask (use L1 if needed): Why do you think that is? (Elicit (in L1 if needed): These
animals do not live on a farm, they live in a zoo. / or another logical response.)
