Performance Task
•
Say: Open your Course Books to page 65.
•
Tell pupils they are going to create a book to put in Bookworm’s Library. Have
pupils draw and decorate a cover for his/her favorite book or story. If pupils cannot
choose a book they like, they may choose their favorite from the four stories they
have read in English class thus far: Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, The
Happy Tree House, Together is Better, or Bookworm’s Library. Alternatively, they
can make up a name of a book.

Say: Make a book cover for Bookworm’s Library.
Draw the cover of your favorite book.
Copy the name of the book in English.
Write your name in English.
Cut out your book.
Present your book to the class.
