Some books are scary, too.
But it is only a book.
If you feel afraid,
Don't look!
Teach the new vocabulary word "but" through the context of the story (use L1 if
needed to explain the meaning).
Do gesture for 'scary', 'afraid' and 'don't look'
Ask: Look at the pictures. How do you feel? (Elicit: I feel afraid.)
