Teach the new vocabulary using the flashcards.
Present each card one at a time and say the word: library, read.
Have pupils repeat the words.
Ask (use L1 if needed): Have you ever been to a library? (Elicit: yes/no)
Is there a library at school? (Elicit: yes/no)
Where is the library in school? (Accept any logical answer in L1)
What do you do at the library? (Elicit: look at books/read)
Game

Go to Sleep (game #3)
Play the game to review and practice the vocabulary: library, read, clown,
monkey, happy, sad, mad, afraid, surprised.
Review the words using the flashcards before playing the game.
Have pupils put their head on the desk and say: Goodnight. Go to sleep!
Hide one of the cards and say: Good morning. Wake up!
Ask: What’s missing?
Have pupils say what is missing. Reveal the card to check the answer.
Repeat the game several times and take away a different card each time.

Say: Open your Course Books to page 58. Look at #1.

Have pupils "read" the pictures across each row quietly to review the words. Pupils
should use their finger to follow the pictures as they move from left to right.

Say: Listen and circle the correct picture.
