Show flashcards one at a time and ask: How do you feel? I feel
(happy/sad/afraid/mad/surprised).
Do facial expressions to illustrate the meaning of the sentences.
Show ‘happy’ flashcard and ask: How do you feel?
Have the pupils respond: I feel happy.
Show 'sad' flashcard and ask: How do you feel?
Have the pupils respond: I feel sad.
Ask: What's the matter? (Elicit a response in L1.)
Repeat for 'afraid,' 'mad,' and 'surprised.'

The Cube Game (game #9)
Use the cube on the emotions side.
Throw the cube in the air and let it land on the floor.
Ask: How do you feel? (Elicit: I feel _____ .)
Repeat this a few times.
Now, toss the cube to a pupil and ask: How do you feel? (Elicit the emotion of
the side that faces up: I feel _____ .)
Have the pupil toss the cube to another pupil and ask: How do you feel?
Repeat this until many pupils have had a turn.
