Show the class the WebQuest and explain how it works. Say:
A WebQuest is like a treasure hunt, where you have to follow a list of clues
to find the information.
Here you will be given a list of instructions.
For each instruction, you’ll have a link or links that will tell you where to go
and what to do.
Follow the instructions.
When you finish all the instructions, you’ll have a final project, the WebQuest
creation.
Divide the class into small groups of four students and give them a deadline for their
product.

Explain to the students that they will be making a new
invention in groups of four.
1. Say:
You will be inventing something new.
But first, you have to describe the three
inventions you can see in the pictures.
Write a description of each invention in your
notebook, using the topics given.
It’s a good idea to do one invention together on the
board, so that the students know what is expected.
