What did we look at last time? (a timetable)
Whose timetable was it? (the thief's)
What do we know about the thief now? (Accept answers that relate.)
What new language did we learn? (Present Simple)
Discuss the title.
Ask:
Who knows what the word ‘strange’ means? (Have the students guess. Give
examples if no one knows.)
What do you think is strange? (Accept all logical answers.)
1. Let’s Rap! (HOTS - Inferring) (Track 17) (page 46)
Have half the students rap two lines at a time., and the other half add the words ‘oh no’ after every
two lines, then all together they rap the last two lines. (This works well for the longer raps.)
Ask:
Who is the strange guy? (the green-faced guy)
Where did Tom and Kate see him? (They saw him on the way to the game,
riding his bike the wrong way.)
Do you think there is a connection between the green-faced guy and the guy
with the scar? (Accept all logical answers.)
