THE DETECTIVES - TEACHER’S GUIDE - Unit 4
Jordan:
But we also found out why it's important for our city to grow. Here is OUR plan. It's
called "Lakeview Green"!
Lily:
Please look at Map Number 3 behind me. Lakeview Green will have ten
buildings with 300 homes. This uses less land than 300 houses. It also uses less
electricity and water, too. That’s good for Lakeview!
Sasha:
Lakeview Green will protect our lake, our park and our forest. For any tree that is cut
down we will plant a new tree nearby. That’s good for the animal habitat!
Kate:
We are very proud of our plan. Thank you for listening. Please vote for Lakeview
Green! (applause and cheers)
Mayor:
Well, thank YOU, Kate, and thanks to everyone on the Green Team. Is everyone
ready to vote?
YEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!! (shouts, applause, cheers)
