ACADEMIC PLACEMENT
The academic program provides continued remediation
according to the needs of each student. Honors courses
are available to provide challenges for qualified students
upon faculty recommendation. Honors courses may
require significant preparation outside of class.
Students will be placed in reading courses until their
reading and spelling scores are at or above grade level on
progress testing and in-class assessments. Students are
placed in a Reading class according to individual needs.
Reading courses are categorized as elective credits.
