Innovation Through Inclusion
Culture has always been an intentional focus at LSC-University
Park. Starting in 2011, the college developed a cultural evolution of
Innovation, Evidence, and Inquiry. From the beginning, innovation
has been – and will continue to be – a defining aspect of our
culture. As the college began to mature, a culture of evidence
took root; we must be able to objectively assess whatever we set
out to do. Likewise, asking the right questions and getting multiple
perspectives in forming the answers is part of a culture of inquiry
at LSC-University Park.
Staying true to this culture, we continue to expand the conversations
by seeking input from more of our faculty, staff, and, equally
important, our students. How do our stakeholders define our three
strategic priorities of access, success and culture? How do we put
them into action?
As we collectively answer these questions, we are moving toward
the next stage of our cultural evolution – a culture of Impact.
