A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
It’s always a beautiful day at Lone Star College-University Park! As one of seven
campuses within the Lone Star College System under the leadership of Chancellor
Steve Head, we are committed to providing affordable access for our students
and ensuring that they have every opportunity to be successful – whether they
are pursuing transfer to a university or interested in rapid entry into the workforce.
LSC-University Park has many firsts to its name and is a proud recipient of countless
awards and recognitions from its inception to its innovative approaches to student
access, success, and culture. LSC-UP has created a culture of innovation through
inclusion enriched by partnering with business, industry, and the community. LSCUniversity Park is truly the “community’s college.”
Our talented faculty, staff, and administrators collaborate together and create
a unique teaching, learning and working environment that is student-focused,
innovative and constantly evolving.
Besides traditional college courses, the LSC-University Park campus is home to
a broad spectrum of corporate and educational partners, including a YMCA
Children’s Academy, a public charter school, a University Center, and the LSC
Corporate College. We are one location with many opportunities.
