Faith a nd Mission
At All Hallows’ School, we inspire our young women to live lives of faith and action in the spirit of
Mercy. Our Religious Education program seeks to develop the religious literacy of students
in the Catholic Christian tradition and Mercy ethos, so that they might participate
critically and authentically in contemporary culture. We believe this contributes to the
total development of the human person who understands and values respectful
relationships, wisdom and spirituality. Our students are socially aware, taking
action both within and beyond our community.
Commitment on the part of the parents to the religious and faith
education of their daughter is necessary for enrolment. All students
take part in Religious Education classes and Catholicism is
studied within the wider context of religious experience and
an increasingly diverse society. The prayer and liturgical
life of the School is also a vital part of our students’
formation as young Mercy women. Faith and a social
conscience enable an All Hallows’ girl to step
forward confidently with a deep understanding
of the difference she can make in this world.
