successful, but the feelings we have around money
that allow us to live a fulfilled and prosperous life.
In the image below, you’ll notice that Maslow
affirms that to be self-actualized (an internal
feeling of accomplishment) you need to climb
the pyramid.
98% of the human population lives their lives in
rush hour traffic, stressed to the max and popping
anxiety or depression medication. I believe when
Maslow discovered this model for success, the
world was much simpler than the complicated
world we live in today.
these rituals can be practiced daily, or weekly depending on the time you
have to dream boldly and create a compelling financial future:
Spend 5 minutes every morning dreaming boldly.
Refer to the first exercise I encouraged you to do at the beginning of this article, Albert
Einstein said, “Imagination is more powerful than facts. Instead of focusing on the “FACTS” of
your life, start using your imagination wisely. Instead of focusing on the problems you have, start
dreaming of what your life can be, what you can have and how far you can go. No investor cares
about your financial problems; they only care about how your business vision can make them
money and change human consciousness for the better.

While some people are, to a certain degree,
achieving their basic needs, many are not. In a
instead of worrying about what you don’t have, focus on what you do have.
Many entrepreneurs are worried that they do not have enough funding, resources,
support or customers. Constant worrying has been scientifically proven to create neuro synaptic
groves in your brain that decrease your ability to come up with creative solutions to solve pressing
business problems. I coach my business clients to plant daily seeds that they want to harvest in 3

months. If you wake up every day and plants seeds of fear, “I don’t have this or that” seeds, you’ll
harvest more “I don’t have” plants, 3 months later.
20 years ago, I decided I was going to choose to
live a life contrary to the popular theory of human
evolution and carve out my definition of success.
While the journey has not always been easy, it has
brought me more joy, less stress and on most days,
I wake up feeling fulfilled without the insistent
need to worry about money.
after you finish your 5 minute dream boldly morning exercise, list everything that
you are grateful for that you already have in your life.
When I started in business, I didn’t have many clients, but I wrote in my gratitude journal everyday
how thankful I was for the current clients I had. I was grateful for the money they brought into
my business and I was thankful that I had a skill I could provide to my clients as a service, which
made their businesses better. Within 3 months my client list grew from 5 corporate clients to
over 17, because I focused on being grateful for what I had and served the clients I had very
well, so they referred others to my business. “What you are grateful for multiplies because you
only reap what you plant.”
Instead of following Maslow’s theory, I turned the
pyramid upside down. I started examining my
own emotions as well as the contents of my mind,
and after 20 years of practicing the rituals I’ll be
sharing with you, I know that no matter what the
economic climate will be, as an entrepreneur I can
always come up with a solution to all my business
and financial challenges. This is TRUE Financial
Mastery. I am in charge of my financial destiny
because I know that a quiet, focused mind will
always produce better results than a depressed,
anxiety-ridden mind.
I share some of my rituals for you to practice, so
you can develop a guilt-free relationship with your
money, which in a short space of time will free
your mind from anxiety and depression-ridden
thoughts around the topic of money.
Most importantly, these rituals will allow your
mind to become focused long enough so you can
start having creative ideas that can lead to great
business innovation and have a huge financial
impact on your bottom line.
After 20 years of being an entrepreneur,
experiencing more failures than I would like to
admit, more nights crying at failed marketing
campaigns, lost contracts, disgruntled clients and

tell the truth always and tell it fast.
The number one reason we as entrepreneurs struggle with money anxiety is our inherent
propensity to dream big, but we are unwilling to acknowledge where we are starting from. There
is no shame in struggle, in fact, struggle makes you extra resourceful. When you first start out, I
can guarantee that you’ll have to work 60 - 80 hour weeks with no financial reward. Your family
and friends might even give up on you and your pipe dream. You’ll spend more days trying to
convince yourself that your business dream will one day become a successful reality and more
days than not, you’ll eat one meal a day because all the extra money you have will have to go
into funding your business. When you finally become comfortable telling this kind of truth to
yourself and those around you, you’ll be far more prepared for the financial hardship that comes
with entrepreneurship.

If you’re not willing to face this kind of hard TRUTH, you’ll live in the delusion that building a
successful business is easy and when the hard times come, you’ll get bitter and resentful of
those who are successful and then give up. Financial success comes after years of constant
hustle, countless nights working away at your craft, when your friends are out at the clubs and
years with a zero bank balance.

the world and WIN in Business.
The lessons I’ve learned are mine to keep, the
wisdom I’ve gained is worth more than a

I encourage you to develop inner resilience, learn
from all your failures, be grateful for what you
already have and tell the truth as it is always, then
and only then will you eliminate money anxiety
forever.
