high, ponytail swinging and feet apart
to take a bold stance. This is the iconic statue
of the ‘Fearless Girl’ on Wall Street in New York
City, facing the charging bull which represents
the world’s financial powerhouses. The young
girl’s statue became a powerful symbol and
call on companies to embrace gender equity
and inclusiveness by having more women
in their boards, leadership and in decisionmaking positions.
The narrative around the statue, though it took
place across the Atlantic Ocean, resonates with
