Thembi Buthelezi is the founder of Future Gen Leaders Foundation. She is
a millennial born and raised in South African. She attended college in the
U.S.A, lived and worked in Asia, Africa and Europe. Through her global work
experiences, she’s learned some impressive cultural intelligence skills that
drive her passion to find innovative solutions to foster a productive and
harmonious work environment.
KhenSani nobanda
Khensani Nobanda is the Group Executive for Marketing and Corporate
Affairs at Nedbank. Her marketing career spans 18 years, working across a
number of local and multinational organisations. Her first marketing role
was at Unilever where she started as the Rama Assistant Brand Manager. Her
Unilever career culminated in her running the Skin Category for Unilever in
Africa, Middle East and Turkey, based in Dubai. She has also worked at Diageo,
South African Breweries and Vodacom where she was before she joined
Nedbank in September 2017. Khensani is passionate about brands; especially
brands that are purpose led, and embody that purpose in everything that
they do.
bulelani balabala
Bulelani Balabala is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Intercessors
Army Franchising (IAF) Brands, a 100% black owned and township based
company that conceptualises marketing strategies for various companies,
produces marketing collateral and design and produces innovative branding
material. Bulelani Balabala possesses a passion for uplifting communities
and empowering other township based companies, which founded his
non-profit organisation (NPO), Township Entrepreneurs Alliance (TEA). TEA
focuses on knowledge sharing, skills development, enterprise development
and access to market.
Sara Gon
Sara Gon is a Policy Fellow for the Institute of Race Relations to write
digestible articles for the general media on any socio-political topics.
After 17 years in the legal profession, Sara co-founded and managed the
Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Additional experience includes
acting judgeship on the Labour Court, assessor on the Labour Appeal Court,
labour mediation, arbitration and disciplinary hearings, chairing governing
bodies of government schools and trustee of an Early Education Trust.
