From the very first day, we
took advantage of the good
weather to explore the
nature reserve in Bel Ombre
and unravel its many secrets.
On board a buggy, we set off
for a ride in the wilderness
and then took part in an
extraordinary treasure hunt.
Our mission consisted in
finding bird feathers, pieces
of wood and pebbles that we
would get to take home as

souvenirs. After this activity,
all three of us were famished.
In addition to stories about
the reserve, our guide had
planned a succulent meal
under the trees. Back in my
room, I lay down under my
tepee to write down all those
beautiful memories in my
diary. Mum read me a story
about the adventures of
Tikoulou in Bel Ombre.
