THE SPECKLED LEGBAR WAS developed in Britain in
the 1930's and are quite popular in the United
Kingdom, yet practically unknown in the United
States. Vibrant, sky blue to pastel green eggs are
just one desirable trait about this striking beauty.
Cream Legbars are chatty, active, very curious and
remarkable foragers. They love to investigate their
surroundings. Charming does not even begin to
describe this lovable breed. No matter how small,
this breed has a huge personality.

COPPER
MARAN
Maran hens originated in western France in a
town by the same name. Black Copper Marans are
primarily known for their large dark chocolate
brown eggs. Black Copper Maran eggs are the
darkest of all the Maran varieties. As with all
dark brown egg layers, the eggs are the darkest
at the beginning of the laying cycle.

LOHMANN
BROWN
Developed in Germany, the Lohmann Brown Hen was
often used by commercial chicken farms thanks to
their egg quality, production efficiency and
adaptability. They often start egg production earlier
than other hens—14 as opposed to 20-24 weeks.
