Our purpose and values
Our purpose is to take care of the world’s technology. It drives everything that we do.
At 3stepIT, our purpose helps us to define our vision: to
lead the world in technology lifecycle management. It
is a bold statement, but with our strong core business
capabilities and now our partnership with BNP Paribas, we
are confident we can be leaders in this very important and
relevant field.
Every one of us at 3stepIT plays a part in helping businesses
consume technology more sustainably, and in turn, reduce
their e-waste and contribution to global emissions. It is an
incredibly powerful and motivating reason to come to work
every day.
To be successful we need a strong operating culture. To
deliver on our ambitions, everyone must pull together
under the same values and ethics.

Our crowning achievement in 2020 was the progress made with our joint venture,
BNP Paribas 3 Step IT, which continued its roll out across Europe. The deal was signed
in October 2019, with initial openings in France and Italy, marking the beginning of an
alliance that would take our sustainable technology lifecycle management solution
across the continent.
Our partnership with BNP Paribas combines the
bank’s unrivalled management skills with our asset
management and refurbishing expertise and represents
the opportunity to help thousands more businesses to
manage their IT more sustainably and efficiently.
Against the backdrop of a global pandemic, in 2020
we opened operations in the UK, as well as three new
greenfield sites in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
This unprecedented progress, during a global pandemic,
demonstrates the strength of our business model and the
demand for a new and more sustainable way to manage IT.
Now present in six countries, in its first year the joint
venture has already allowed us to close new deals
with large, globally recognised brands, as even the
most prominent companies turn to more sustainable
technology solutions. Many of the businesses we are
working with have a multinational presence, and as a
result, our solution is now in place across Europe, Canada
and the USA.
Throughout the year, we began the important task of
fusing the cultures and operating models of BNP Paribas
and 3stepIT. We implemented common systems in
the greenfield countries and launched a new training
programme to help our sales team to close deals.

During 2020 we also strengthened our executive team
in the joint venture. Carmen Ene was appointed CEO by
the Board; Jason Skidmore became Chief Commercial
Officer and Jonas Rosqvist assumed the role of Chief
Remarketing Officer. All retain their executive positions at
3stepIT, working across both businesses to unite the teams
and accelerate growth.
