Compe琀椀琀椀on and shall have the power to decide whether a ground is suitable for Compe琀椀琀椀on matches
and to order a Club whose ground is deemed unsuitable to play its home matches at an alterna琀椀ve suitable
ground.
8.8 2 weeks’ no琀椀ce is required from Clubs wishing to re-arrange a Saturday match to Friday evening or
Sunday. A request made in less than this period of 琀椀me will only be considered by the Board in excep琀椀onal
circumstances and granted at their sole discre琀椀on.
8.9 A Club may not enter its 昀椀rst team in any outside compe琀椀琀椀on, other than those listed in Rule 8.4, without
the prior permission of the Board. The Compe琀椀琀椀on Secretary must be informed in wri琀椀ng of all 昀椀xtures,
postponements, abandonments and results of all matches played in any other compe琀椀琀椀on.
8.10 When a Club obtains the consent of the Board to postpone a 昀椀xture because of an epidemic a昀昀ec琀椀ng
the availability of their Players, that Club shall be liable to pay any direct expenses incurred, if any, to the
opposing Club. The amount of claim will be at the discre琀椀on of the Board. Requests for the postponement
of a match for any reason will not be considered more than forty-eight hours before the scheduled 琀椀me of
kick-o昀昀.
Medical cer琀椀昀椀cates for those Players a昀昀ected, signed by the Players’ own doctor, must be forwarded to
the Compe琀椀琀椀on Secretary within seven days of the postponement, along with a full list of contract and
Non-Contract Players currently registered by the Club at the date of the match which was postponed,
giving full reasons against each name for the Player’s unavailability.
PRE-MATCH ARRANGEMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
8.11 Each Club must take every precau琀椀on to keep its ground in good playing condi琀椀on and ameni琀椀es
(including 昀氀oodlights) in good working order and complying with the Criteria Document throughout the
Playing Season.
8.12 All Clubs must have a mobile telephone and an email address opera琀椀onal at all 琀椀mes. These will be listed in
the Compe琀椀琀椀on Handbook unless a Club requests otherwise.
8.13 The 8.13 The home Club shall advise the visi琀椀ng Club and the Match O昀케cials of the date and 琀椀me
of kick-o昀昀 of each match and the team colours, including the colour of the goalkeeper’s jersey, it will be
wearing, to be received at least 昀椀ve days prior to the match and the visi琀椀ng Club and the Match O昀케cials
must acknowledge receipt to be received at least three days before the match.
The visi琀椀ng Club must include in its acknowledgement the team colours, including the colour of the
goalkeeper’s jersey, it will be wearing.
8.14 The home Club is responsible for publishing a full match programme acceptable to the Board for each
of its Compe琀椀琀椀on matches. A full match programme available electronically only shall be acceptable
providing that each Club has approval from the Board before the commencement of the Playing Season
and must be con琀椀nuous for the whole of that Playing Season. A Team Sheet will not be considered
su昀케cient to comply with this Rule.
The visi琀椀ng Club must send in wri琀椀ng to the home Club details of the proposed team they plan to 昀椀eld
together with their Club history and up-to-date pen pictures of their current Players registered with the
Compe琀椀琀椀on for the season and the latest team photograph at least 昀椀ve days before the scheduled date of
the match between the two Clubs.
The home Club programme must include the details sent by the visi琀椀ng Club in the match day programme
and a copy of each match day programme shall be sent by the home Club to the Compe琀椀琀椀on Secretary as
advised.
Clubs will be responsible for all comments in their match day programme in respect of the Compe琀椀琀椀on,
the Company or other member Clubs, notwithstanding any disclaimers to the contrary. No part of a Club’s
programme issued for a match in any compe琀椀琀椀on shall, in the opinion of the Board, bring the Compe琀椀琀椀on
or the Company into disrepute.
All Clubs will be responsible for their o昀케cial website or similar computer related informa琀椀on system, which
is within the public domain. Nothing shall be included on the website which in the opinion of the Board
brings the Compe琀椀琀椀on or the Company into disrepute.
8.15 The postponement of matches due to ground condi琀椀ons must be carried out in accordance with
Rule 14.2.
8.16 Where a match is re-arranged or cancelled a昀琀er the o昀케cials have been appointed, it is the duty of the
home Club to no琀椀fy the o昀케cials of the cancella琀椀on of their appointments immediately. Clubs in default of
this Rule may be subject to any ac琀椀on decided by the Board.
8.17 The Board shall determine the policy of the Compe琀椀琀椀on for the issuing of match day passes. A home
