0108 Standardised Rulesclause in the original Loan agreement.To extend the period of any long term loan transfer a further Compe琀椀琀椀on Temporary Transfer Form(for internal Temporary Transfers) or FA form H3 (for Temporary Transfers involving two compe琀椀琀椀ons)must be completed and copies retained as directed above.The Compe琀椀琀椀on shall not approve more than two (2) Long Term Loan transfers to or from any oneclub, including Premier League and EFL clubs, at any one 琀椀me (subject to the overall limit of four (4)Players joining a Club from another club in any Playing Season as set out at Rule 6.6.1).6.6.4 Youth Loan TransfersYouth Loan Transfers apply to:• Contract Players aged 20 or under on 1 July immediately preceding the Playing Season in ques琀椀on.At Steps 1 to 6 of the Na琀椀onal League System, Youth Loans are permi琀琀ed at any 琀椀me during theRegistra琀椀on Period, subject to the below provisions.Unlimited Youth Loan Transfers shall be allowed to or from Clubs in membership of the Compe琀椀琀椀onsat Steps 1-4 of the Na琀椀onal League System, save that the Compe琀椀琀椀on shall not approve more thantwo (2) Youth Loan transfers to or from anyone club at any one 琀椀me (subject to the overall limit of four(4) Players joining a Club from another club in any Playing Season as set out at Rule 6.6.1).Clubs playing in Compe琀椀琀椀ons at Steps 1 to 6 of the Na琀椀onal League System may register players on aYouth Loan from other clubs playing in Compe琀椀琀椀ons at Steps 1 to 6 of the Na琀椀onal League System.Only Clubs playing in Compe琀椀琀椀ons at Steps 1 to 4 of the Na琀椀onal League System may register playerson a Youth Loan from clubs in the EFL.It shall be a condi琀椀on of any Youth Loan involving a Contract Player to whom EFL Rules apply that forthe dura琀椀on of the period of the Youth Loan the Player con琀椀nues to fully comply with the programmeof educa琀椀on in place for that Player.A Player registered on a Youth Loan may, provided it is agreed between the two clubs and the Player,con琀椀nue to train with and/or play for his loaning Club (or club) in any match other than matches playedas part of the Premier League Compe琀椀琀椀on, EFL Compe琀椀琀椀on, EFL Cup, FA Cup or EFL Trophy (i.e.First Team matches.) Par琀椀cipa琀椀on by the Player in First Team matches for the borrowing Club shalltake precedence.Any days on which the Player par琀椀cipates in a Reserve Team match and/or a琀琀ends any trainingsessions for the loaning Club (or club) shall s琀椀ll count towards the period of the Youth Loan.The minimum period of a Youth Loan shall be 28 days, therea昀琀er a break clause may be included.Youth Loans cannot extend beyond the date immediately preceding the date of the Player’s 21stbirthday and/or the Player’s contract period with their parent club.6.6.5 Work Experience PlayersA Scholar may register as a Work Experience Player with a club at Steps 1 to 6 of the Na琀椀onal LeagueSystem.Work Experience Players can be registered for any period of 琀椀me, but can be recalled by their parentclub at any 琀椀me during that period.A Work Experience Player may con琀椀nue to train and play for either the parent club or the workexperience club in any age-restricted or reserve team match or in any match in the football pyramidbelow the EFL, but not in any 昀椀rst team match played as part of the Premier League Compe琀椀琀椀on, EFLCompe琀椀琀椀ons, EFL Cup or EFL Trophy.6.7 CLUB LIST OF PLAYERS AND TRANSFER LIST. Not applicable.6.8 SUBSTITUTE PLAYERSA AT STEPS 1 TO 4 ONLYA Club at its discre琀椀on may use 3 subs琀椀tute Players at any 琀椀me in a match. Subs琀椀tu琀椀on can onlybe made when play is stopped for any reason and the Referee has given permission. When a Club ismaking a subs琀椀tu琀椀on it shall use a board to show the number of the Player to be subs琀椀tuted and thenumber of the subs琀椀tute Player. The subs琀椀tu琀椀on board used shall be branded as determined by theCompe琀椀琀椀on.A maximum of 5 subs琀椀tutes may be nominated and they must be included on the o昀케cial Team Sheethanded to the Referee before the match in accordance with Rule 8.20. A subs琀椀tute may not be usedto replace a Player who has been suspended from the match by the Match O昀케cials.If a Player does not take part in the match for which he is a nominated subs琀椀tute he shall be deemedas not having played for the Club in that match.148
