Leopard Fan Dance
This strongly designed Leopard Bowl was hand-sculpted
by young, Sotho artist, Molapo Reentseng and painted
by Siyabonga Mabaso.
Siya has thoroughly enjoyed using a bold black
and orange colour palette for this year’s
‘The Pride of Africa’ exhibition. The colour-way was
inspired by our collaboration with Cole & Son
wallpapers and the Savuti design.
With confidence, Siya has added strong, graphic, fanlike palm motifs that dance with the rhythms of the dark
spotted intertwined leopards on the rim creating a
pride-of-place masterpiece.
