Maintain the natural beauty of our
Resort by:
Depositing all debris in litter receptacles.
Ensuring the proper disposal of beverage containers
– they easily blow from golf carts or beach chairs and
quickly litter lawns, roads, and waterways.
n Not drying towels and bathing suits on railings or balconies.
n Parking only in designated parking spaces.
n Placing garbage in the service yard or the disposal
chute where it will be collected twice weekly. Do not
place containers by the curb.
n Not placing signs, balloons and other lawn ornaments
on the property.

Maintain the safety of our Resort by:
Observing the 25 mph speed limit throughout the
Resort. Please drive safely.
n Using the leisure trails for bicycling, rollerblading, walking, or jogging only.
n Jogging, walking, and roller blading against the ow
of traffic and riding bicycles with the ow of traffic if leisure trails are not available.
n Not riding bicycles at night.
n Using the leisure trail under the 278 bridge to cross
the highway when walking or biking to or from Shelter
Cove.
n Not biking, rollerblading, or skateboarding in hallways,
pools, or parking areas.
n Not swimming in the lagoons, lakes, or creeks – there
are alligators.
Not using charcoal or gas grills on decks or balconies
of multi-family buildings of more than two oors.
n Not using glass containers on the beach or at the pool.
n Using waterproof diapers on infants in all swimming
pools.
n Not using motorized scooters – they are prohibited.

Transportation & Regulations
The Palmetto Dunes Buggy provides courtesy transportation within Palmetto Dunes, Leamington, and
Shelter Cove. Visit the beach, golf courses, restaurants,
shops and tennis courts, as well as Shelter Cove Harbour,
Shelter Cove Towne Centre and the Plaza at Shelter
Cove. The buggy runs 7 days a week and is dispatched
on a first come, first served basis. Call 843-689-4222 to
request a ride. Days of Operation: April 1 to Labor Day
and September 7th–30th

For the enjoyment of others, please...
Use only audio devices with headphones outside or in
the common areas.
n Ensure that all individuals using the pool do not exceed
reasonable noise levels.
n Use a pooper-scooper if you walk your pets on the
beach, common areas or roads.
n Please, only quiet activities between the hours of 10pm
and 7am.
