oined the holiday club for just over
a year but I’m already very satisfied
with the accommodation we had for
the several trips we took. The Wyndham
Grand Hotel in Xi’an, China, has a
fantastic location, and is convenient for
business and travel. The rooms are
especially spacious and comfortable. In
the Ramada Plaza at Menam Riverside,
Bangkok, the view from the riverside
suite was amazing, and Asiatique, the
modern Bangkok night market, is just a
five minute walk from here. Even though
the reservation did not include breakfast,
we could get authentic local cuisine in
the alley just across the street. The city
atmosphere was also very good. From
the membership brochure, we saw that
Wyndham resort in Fiji has a super-high
exchange value, so we decided to give it
a try. As expected, Fiji is really a holiday
paradise. The resort has enough private
beaches and all kinds of entertainment to
keep us busy indoors for several days. The
standard of the fire dance performance
on weekends was even better than those
in the port business district. The kitchen
in the suite was very well-equipped.
The dining area was also large enough.
In the supermarket, we bought local
seafood and steak from neighbouring
New Zealand and Australia, and even rice!
Every morning, the mixed Chinese and
Western breakfast in the garden was just
perfect. We are already looking forward to
our trip to New Zealand next year.
Also wanted to comment separately on
Wyndham Grand Kalim Bay in Phuket. As
this resort was just completed recently,
the facilities are relatively new and more
humanised. The best thing is that each
suite has its own individual infinity pool.
The resort is located in the middle of a
hill, so the view from the whole resort was
good. The seascape from the restaurant
was even more stunning.
It was also quite convenient to travel
around as it’s not far from the food and
business centres.

club. The staff are warm and professional,
timely and effective in their follow-ups,
doing just what needed to be done, our
interactions with them were really nice.
I hope the holidays will get better and
better, and I will recommend more friends
to join the program.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Holiday Exchange
• Instant Exchange allows RCI members
booking within 30 days of check-in to
pay a flat fee of 3,000 Member Points
per exchange week regardless of unit
size, seasonality or region.
• RCI allows CLUB WYNDHAM ASIA
Members to exchange Member Points
for a minimum of a week at any
available RCI Affiliated Resort.
• When RCI members deposit their Points
with RCI, they are placed into a central
availability pool called the RCI exchange
pool.
• Your holiday options depend on what is
available in the pool at the time.
• If there is no availability for the location,
room size or dates you wish to travel,
you can request an ongoing search
whereby the system searches 24 hours a
day, seven days a week to find a match.
• Members are not able to place an
ongoing search for an Instant Exchange
and need to call RCI direct or book
online to confirm the reservation.
Holiday Rentals
• Holiday Rentals are additional, nonexchange accommodation options
available just for RCI members at
discounted cash rates or converted into
a Member Points rate that may exceed
the standard RCI exchange chart.
