Thomas Edison’s contributions and character hold an unequaled significance in Ft.
Myers and SW Florida. The Edison Festival of Light has become the premier winter
event celebrating his life and legacy. The Festival is held in February each year,
culminating with its signature event, the Grand Parade, on Saturday evening. Stand or
sit along the road and watch the astonishing floats go by. Participate as a vendor,
volunteer, or enter a float of your own in the parade.
