FIN LARAMIEFLORIDA PANTHER- x19-It was the last snowfall of winter in Algonquin Park, but it gave everything it had; hauntingly beautiful in the stillness left behind. With it,though, came devastation: no family left unscathed, no home left standing. Unaware, this was the year that Fin Laramie, never havingseen snow, decided to head north for holiday.A Florida Panther and a rare breed on all accounts, Fin runs on integrity and conviction. He speaks up when he believes it’s right, andstands up when he knows he has to fight. But his inherent compassion and empathy run just as deep. He listens more than he speaks, understands more than he knows, and gives more than he keeps.Fin, by trade and passion, is a carpenter. He could build a well-appointed home with nothing more than a few wood chips, some Elmer’sglue, and one thin dime. Having lived through myriad hurricanes of the South, Fin set out to build a home base, where everyone couldgather for news and updates; ride out future storms; and stay while their own homes were being rebuilt. The craggy, winding trail to the building site was peppered with rocks and roots, over a gully, through a thicket, and across a creek. It ishere the Main Hall now sits, offering, under its aegis, sanctuary and comfort. Just like Fin.w: lecanotrouge.com e: hello@lecanotrouge.com p: 954-433-8277 f: 954-416-6219
