JOHN BARNSTAPLEPACHYRHINOSAURUS- x36-John Barnstaple Pachyrhinosaurus loved thinking about intangibles: words, art, and music. Things that are so incredibly meaningful, yethave no seeming direct impact on our survival. So why the focus and time spent on such things? Because it is how we connect withothers. That, he thought, is why we are all here: to connect with others so we can better know ourselves (and to become a richer self inthe process).“Only that which is the other gives us fully unto ourselves, — Sri Yogananda.“I am that I am” — Exodus 3:14.“Now that we know who you are, I know who I am. I am not a mistake” — Elijah Price. But, John wondered, if it is all about connecting, what do we leave behind in the exchange? What is our legacy, be it from a relationship,a job, a life? Tangibles will all turn back to dust at some point; nothing lasts forever. Almost nothing, anyway. Energy lasts. It mighttransform, but it is never destroyed. So, John chooses his legacy to be the juiciest energy he can possibly put out there. And he lovesdoing it through music. Watching people smile, dance, and sing is watching emotions and connections in action. He knows that, evenafter he has left the building, the experience and joy will be remembered and, hopefully, passed forward. And that is the best legacy of all.w: lecanotrouge.com e: hello@lecanotrouge.com p: 954-433-8277 f: 954-416-6219
