Don’t trip into acid traps
If you are fit and healthy, yellow strips will be okay in weekends and green
strips on normal weekdays. If however you suffer from cancer, osteoporosis
or any long illness it’s important that your strips always shows pH 8. If a morning strip is yellow, you might want to consider why and what you could do
today to make it green tomorrow. What did you eat and drink yesterday? Did
you get exercise and fresh air? Or were you sad? This way you will find out
what plays the biggest role for just you:
Ask yourself
• How much water did I drink?
• How much did I move?
• How much black tea, coffee, juice and alcohol did I drink?
• How much cheese and bread did I eat?
• Did I eat candy and sweets?
• Was I stressed-out?
• Did I remember to breathe properly?
• Did I eat too few vegetables compared to meat?
• Did I get any fresh air?
• Did I sleep well last night?
Speed up the acid excretion
Are you impatient? Then two simple tips can help you speed up the excretion.
1. Natural acid dispeller
In the morning, cut a large potato into thin slices. Place the slices in a
large glass of water, and drink the potato water before bedtime. Pulling
acid out of the body requires alkaline minerals and salts. Potatoes are
rich in alkaline salts which seep out into the water during the day. In
the evening, prepare some potato water so it’s ready to be drunk on an
empty stomach next morning.
2. Help from the health store
Stir 1 teaspoon of baking soda into a small glass of water, and drink
it every evening before bedtime for about two months. Then check if
your urine is alkaline without the use of baking soda. Don’t use baking
powder instead of baking soda – because baking powder is baking soda
with acid.
