I am from Rockcastle County. I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work with a
minor in psychology in 2019 from EKU. I graduated in December 2023 from UK with
a master’s in clinical Social Work.
I am quite the nerd. I enjoy playing dnd
(Dungeons and Dragons), cosplaying, attending
comic cons, watching a variety of tv shows,
creating art (I paint, sketch, and do digital art),
and reading. I also love to knit, crochet, and
sew! I am currently in the process of learning
to make armor for some cosplays. During the
colder months you might catch me in my office
crocheting.
I come from a tight knit family. My mother was
a first-generation student who taught my
brother and I the values of college education.
My father was the one who taught me the
values of art and expression.
I am new to NOVA, but I was drawn to it
because over the last five years I have worked
with college interns as their site supervisor. I
developed a passion for helping students and
creating a space where they can grow. I am
excited to finally be working more with
students and cannot wait to get the ball
rolling.
My favorite holiday is of course Halloween!
