In May 2025, after finals, the
NOVA Program will be taking
students to Miami, Florida for
our cultural trip this year!
Want to know how to get a chance to
go? To have the best chance, you’ll
need to do the following:
Be involved. Come to events and
make sure to SIGN YOUR NAME.
Attend First-Gen/Gen 1 events.
Take NOVA classes in Spring.
Enroll in GSD 399 (Juniors and
Seniors) or GSD 225S in the
Spring semester.
You get points for being a Peer
Mentor. As long as you are a
second year and higher, you can
apply to be a mentor. Spring
semester GSD 225S is the next
opportunity to be a Peer Mentor.
If there is a tie in points, tiebreakers will be determined by
GPA.
