focused company:

The outward focused company, that has been formed
specifically to meet a need in society while also playing a part in
the race to cap global temperature rise at 1.5 deg (above preindustrial levels).
Examples would be AURO or Edward Bulmer Natural Paint
These rarer companies you might say ‘are on a mission’ or to
paraphrase President Kennedy they ‘ask not what your customer
can do for you, but what you can do for your customer’.
Our interest in this began as interior designers twenty years
ago and it was then that we discovered that beautiful paint
did not have to be made from vinyl or acrylic resins. AURO
showed us that paint could be made with plant and mineral
ingredients. This literally meant that paint did not become part
of the growing burden of plastic pollution or the rising carbon
emissions threatening our natural world and human survival.
