Called to account
Supply Chain
We see our supply chain as far beyond our procurement from AURO,
Germany. We can do this because AURO have audited their own
supply chain and actively select raw materials with assurances of
social and environmental responsibility. They list all the ingredients
that they use and their source on their website, along with the
certification they hold and assurance schemes they have been
assessed for.
Ethical Trade
We are bound by the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are actively
working with AURO to ensure that our supply chain is completely
transparent and free of slavery and exploitation. We know who sells
us what, where it comes from and that they are paid fairly.
Ethical Consumption
We believe that it is up to the individual to decide if our products are
suitable for them. This may be on the grounds of preference, belief,
or health. That is why AURO received the highest rating when Ethical
Consumer last assessed Household Paints.
If you are vegan you need to know if a paint contains bovine gall or
even beeswax. If you have asthma or chemical sensitivity you need
to know VOC levels but also the source of them.
