About this report
“
This is our first attempt to help the customer understand what
impact we believe that our products and procedures have in
the wider world. We take the wider world to mean the natural
environment but also human health and well-being.
We encounter a great deal of misunderstanding about paint. It is
a complicated business making paint, but it is also one of the few
supplies in my interior design work where so little is volunteered
about how it is made and what the wider effects of that are.
It matters a great deal to our clients, and we believe to humanity.
So this report is our talk with ourselves – all the business owners
work in the business – but like a public Financial Report, there is
nothing here that we would not share with the public.
We are unashamedly trying to make the industry better as we see
it and this report is our base line for improvement. We aim to get
better from here and respond to what our customers say and the
questions they ask.
It goes without saying therefore that we are happy to discuss the
contents of this Impact Report and willing to consider changes
on the basis of better evidence as well as challenging ourselves to
make our reporting more reliable and relevant year on year.
