MINISTRY COHORTS- PILOT LAUNCHED SPRING 2024
The Ministry Cohorts allow you to complete digital content in your
own time, and meet online four times with your cohort members
and an experienced facilitator.
Cohorts support life-long learning and are open for anyone to
join- authorized clergy, chaplains, Christian educators, lay leaders,
and people just interested in the topic.
Ministry Cohorts help you grow your capacities and abilities for
ministry with a menu approach. They are a resource for the UCC
Marks for Faithful and Effective Ministers and other competencybased ministry guides. The format includes multiple choices
content themes available in 4-month cohort periods. Participants
complete digital content in your own time and meet online
four times with a peer group and an experienced facilitator. Bring examples and
applications from your ministerial setting while learning from and with your colleagues.
CONVERSATIONS WITH THE PRESIDENTS
Seminary presidents of the six schools currently participating in the Network Model joined in
conversation to reflect on collaborations. A Course Sharing Collective among the participating
seminaries facilitates cross-registration in particular courses for students among the schools.
Regular Joint faculty forums encourage scholarship and support pedagogies for progressive
and social justice theological education. The group is imagining other ways of collaborating 3
the Network Model in action.
