19. How is the delivery of our climate workstreams prioritised?
This phase of our core programme is prioritised by the actions that have the greatest climate impact and benefits for residents. These are:

The delivery of our duties and services (see section 7)
Working with partners across Suffolk he wider areas within our 'sphere of influence' (see below)

deliver net zero
Low emissions fleet, leisure centre decarbonisation programme, buildings &
asset decarbonisation plan (emerging).
2. Low carbon energy: Delivery of low carbon
energy projects
Planning policies, Energy Teams, East Suffolk Green Hydrogen Strategy.
3. Low energy homes: Enabling homes to be
healthy and efficient.
Warmer homes, HRA property retrofit programme (emerging), Planning
policies.
4. Nature: Biodiversity loss & habitat restoration
Biodiversity programmes e.g. pardon the weeds, tree planting; Biodiversity Net
Gain (emerging), Planning policies.
5. Sustainable transport: Supporting low carbon
mobility
Cycling and Walking Strategy, Strategic transport and sustainable mobility
planning through Regeneration, Housing, Asset Management and Planning
functions.
6. Circular economy: Recycling & reducing use of
resources
Recycling & waste programme, procurement strategy, Environmental
Protection.
